Jennifer Smith, Office Manager/Receptionist

My family and I moved into the area 15 years ago, after having lived in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. My husband, Tom, and I have two daughters, Rachel and Maggie. My family is owned by a German Shepard mix named Riley and two cats named Fletcher and Junie. Over the last 25 years, I have worked in a variety of positions at veterinary clinic in Minnesota, Oklahoma and Iowa. When I am not at work, I enjoy reading, gardening and shopping.

Kayla Slykhuis, RVT

I moved to Iowa with my family from Las Vegas five years ago. I have two dogs of my own a Shih Tzu mix named Jon Snow, and a Maltese mix named Cookie. What can I say I have a weakness for the small fluffy ones! I am currently a student at Kirkwood and on my way to becoming a registered veterinary technician. When I am not working, I enjoy reading, my strong TV addiction, and spending time with my little monsters.

Sarah Smith, Veterinary Assistant

I have lived in a variety of cities and towns all over Iowa since birth, but currently I have made home base in Coralville with my cat, Nermal Ophelia. I made the move to Eastern Iowa back in 2014 from Sioux City, Iowa. It was there that I received my Veterinary Assistant diploma at Western Iowa Tech Community College in 2010. My free time is spent doing a vast amount of activities from going to the gym or yoga to playing video games or reading but mostly I enjoy traveling, being with my friends and family, and educating myself on natural oils and products for the mind and body.
