Dr. Wayne J. Ahern, DVM, Retired

I received my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Iowa State University in 1982 and have worked in general practice since.

My wife, Shelley, and I have two grown children, Rachel and Ethan. We enjoy boating, biking, and outdoor activities. My areas of interest included surgery, internal medicine, and dermatology. I believed in keeping current through continuing education and take in several meetings, seminars, and online classes throughout the year.

At Animal Kingdom, we strive to provide careful, conscientious diagnosis and treatment to our patients and seek to establish personal, ongoing relationships with the people that care for them.
